We are returning to our study in the Gospel of Luke today. Last time we looked at Luke, we were considering the teachings of Christ about how to live from Luke 12:35-48. In today’s message, we are going to move forward in this idea of how we are to live each day for the Lord. As we are living for the Lord, we will encounter struggles and hardships that will test our resolve and undermine our diligence. As each of us walks through times of difficulty, it is imperative that we look at them from God’s point of view and respond in such a way that He will be glorified. That’s what I mean when I say we must answer the question of Christ in our lives. Difficult situations will arise in your life. Will your reactions serve Christ or serve yourself? Let’s look at these five sections of Scripture found in the middle of Luke’s gospel and discover some of these trials that the Lord warns us about.
