One of the greatest threats to your spiritual growth and development in 2026 is the busyness of life—or what some might call “the daily grind.” We must ask ourselves:
- How can we maintain a consistent yet reasonable pace in our daily disciplines throughout the coming year?
- When will we find time during the day to focus on God’s Word?
- What will it take for us to endure the more difficult portions of Scripture (i.e., Leviticus, Deuteronomy, 1 Chronicles, Isaiah, or Ezekiel)?
- Is it really all that important to read the whole Bible? Shouldn’t we just focus on the New Testament or even just the words in red?
- What will we have to do to find hope and strength in the daily grind?
My goal for this morning is to bring you some practical advice from the Scripture about the Scripture and its effect on your life. To help me with this today, I’ve asked Pastor David to join me here on stage to discuss what it looks like to find hope and strength for the daily grind.
