Embracing Our Freedom

Ephesians 2:8-10  (ESV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

According to a July 31, 2013 report on USAToday.com, nearly eight in 10 Delaware inmates sentenced to more than a year in prison are arrested again for a serious offense within three years of their release, according to a first-of-its-kind state study.

Children of Israel continually wanted to return to slavery in Egypt.

Our tendency will be to always return to what we know even if the known is less than ideal.

Freedom embraced is Freedom lived.

Why We Should Embrace Our Freedom in Christ?

1.Our Freedom is a Gift (vs. 8)

2.Our Freedom is Not Earned (vs.9)

3.Our Freedom Serves a Purpose (vs. 10)

The Purpose of our Freedom in Christ is to impact the world for Him.
